To answer Christa: (since I’m on my phone)

According to NY state, my father (before taxes) makes too much to be eligible for Medicaid or even food stamps.

Add in my mother’s shit pension of $ 500.00 a month, that goes to pay HER medical insurance, which, because of her COPD requires her to be on oxygen round the clock, and HER insurance doesn’t cover the cost of the concentrator in her house…the Human resource office in our borough considers my family too WELL OFF for services.

When my father applied they told him to move. When he asked them how they expected him to do that when he could barely eat, they told him he should’ve thought about that before he had a heart attack.

So yeah.

No services for him.
